Lead Generation League – A Protocol To Follow

We’re proud of the fact that there’s a lot of content for you to access within this member’s area, but we also realize that trying to make sense of it all can be a little daunting. So, if you’re a full member, with access to all site content, here’s a step by step “quick start” checklist that you can work through for the first few weeks.

Phase 1 – Productivity Setups

Chances are good that you already have a lot of these items in place, so feel free to skip whenever necessary. Schedule a recurring 1-Hour appointment in your calendar 3-4 times each week, and call it “Lead Generation.” Moving forward, use these time blocks to execute &  work through the content you find here in the members area.  (If you can afford more time for this, by all means schedule it accordingly… you’ll see better results. ) Make sure you’re using a modern web browser. If you’re using an outdated version of “Internet Exploder” please consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. If you don’t already have one, set up a gmail account and a youtube account. Here’s a useful video about using Gmail shortcuts. (Practice this process, it’ll change your life. No kidding.)

Phase 2 – Generate your first leads

Choose & follow the set up protocol for one of our squeeze pages. In our experience, the Foreclosure, Fixerupper Loan & GreenErections.Com pages convert best. The key thing to remember about all of these pages is this. The name of the game is getting potential clients into your database. Just because you’re using a foreclosure squeeze page, or one focused on eco friendly listings doesn’t mean that you have to work that niche exclusively. The squeeze page is more about prompting COLD prospects to get into your fold in return for some interesting info. Some of the prospects who hit your pages will be Hot, sure… but think of your squeeze page as a front door, a way to built some quick trust, with further trust building and incubation taking place later in the process. Huh? Don’t worry, for now just pick one of the pages and get it set up :) If you don’t already have one, set up a free Craigslist account. If you’re not sure how to create a craigslist post, work through the Craigslist 101 PDF on the Buyer Leads By Tonight page to practice posting one of your listings. Don’t have a listing? Two options. 1. Use one of your offices listings. 2. Use a Hud Listing Now that you’ve practiced posting a listing and understand the process, find some time to watch the Main Craigslist Training from the Buyer Leads By Tonight System. Schedule a time in your calendar for posting 2-5 Craigslist items a day. Again, if you don’t have your own inventory, borrow, or use HUD listings, they’re fair game to promote. Watch this Craigslist Posting Strategy Session from Buyer Leads By Tonight, and/or this quick screencast about what makes an effective Craigslist post. Post your first traffic diverting craigslist ad. – Use the code snippet provided with the squeeze page you’ve set up, and include it at the top and bottom of the craigslist ad you create. (If you need help generating the necessary html for this snippet, please don’t hesitate to use our support page. (You can post privately if you feel embarrassed about asking for help. But really, there’s no need to feel embarrassed, we want to help, and this is a very critical step to your early success and we want to be sure you get it.) Post 1 or 2 more ads just like the one you just created, but for different listings. Now, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. You’ve made really good progress up to this point, and it’s possible that you’re starting to generate some lead flow via the squeeze pages. But… here’s YOUR BIGGEST CHANCE TO EITHER FAIL OR SUCCEED WITH US. You have to repeat the Craigslist posting protocol at least 3 times a week in order for you to see any real, consistent results from it. So, even if you don’t see results from your first few posts, give it a few more weeks. Post every day if possible, but at least every other. Make it a 15 minute appointment in your calendar. Something you do either right before or right after you check email in the morning.   If you’ve followed everything above and you are still not getting results after 2 weeks, we will personally help tweak and enhance your campaign. Just make the request over at the support page. But you have to help yourself first and give it at least 2 consistent weeks… Thanks! Phase 3 – Start Building Your Content Library We can’t stress this enough. Building your own personal library of engaging content for prospects to consume is critical to your long term success (and perhaps overall survival in the real estate biz.) Even if you’ve been around for years and have a nice referral base to work with, it’s very easy now for competitors who understand content creation to swiftly engage, capture, and close transactions that should have been yours. Here’s a quick fun video illustrating this point: Pick 1 Video Niche, Don’t Assume Creating The Videos Will Be Hard, Just Pick A Niche – Watch this video niche ideas brainstorm and this strategy session about using Screencasts for some inspiration. Once you’ve picked a Video Content Niche, create 9 videos about the niche. Why 9? Don’t worry about it, just do it! And it won’t take as long as you might think. In fact, for most niches you can get this done in one day. At this point you might find the following from the Real Estate Vlogger System helpful. Phase 4 – Set Your Content Up To Work For You Now that you’ve established a solid content base to work with, you can start to lay it out within a website that will for now be the home base for your Real Estate lead generation system. Follow the first 14 Tutorials on the “Real Estate Wordpresser” page. This will get you set up with a website that has a clean simple design, but that is also poised to be much more effective than most real estate websites out there.
